Information we are required to Disclose to our Clients

As BAS Agents, our services are performed for you in accordance with the law, including the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 (TASA).

The following information is provided in compliance with the disclosure requirements of s45 of the Tax Agent Services Act 2009:

1. There are no current matters, or matters arising since 5 June 2024, that Precision Advantage is aware of that could significantly influence your decision to engage us (or continue to engage us) for a BAS Agent Service
2. The Tax Practitioners Board maintains a public register of Tax agents and BAS agents. You can access and search this register at https://www.tpb.gov.au/public-register

Complaint Resolution Process

Precision Advantage takes complaints about our BAS agent services seriously and is committed to resolving them efficiently and fairly and have implemented the following process should you have a complaint:

1. If you have a complaint about our BAS Agent services, please contact us at https://precisionadvantage.com.au/contact-us/ with the details of your complaint. All complaints must be in writing.
2. Where possible your complaint will be investigated by a party who is not involved in the dispute.
3. We will provide you with email acknowledgement of receipt of your complaint and our understanding of the circumstances.
4. The email will inform you that we will attempt to resolve your complaint within 14 days and will outline the dispute resolution process.
5. If you are unhappy with the outcome that we propose to you, you can then take the complaint to the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) at: https://www.tpb.gov.au/complaints

Complaints the TPB can assist you with include:

• Breaches of the Professional Code of Conduct
• Any false or misleading statements made to the Commissioner of Taxation
• Advertising or providing tax agent, BAS agent or tax (financial) advice serviced for a fee when not registered
• Any other conduct that may breach the TASA.

1. The TPB will email you a receipt acknowledging your complaint and will proceed to review, risk assess the complaint and respond.
