In a previous life I worked two jobs, one as an office manager, the second as a Registered Nurse. When my second son was born the thought of going back to shift work wasn’t feasible with a partner who was required to be away for work at short notice for long periods of time. I also needed a new challenge as I’m not someone who can stay comfortable for too long (much to my partner’s frustration).
Precision Advantage (formerly Precision Bookkeeping Solutions) was born in the lounge room of my family home in 2012.
I kept my office management role as I built up the business and within a year I was working solely in the business, the increase in clients based on word-of-mouth referrals.
Over the past 10 years I have upskilled my qualifications to Advanced Diploma of Accounting, Diploma of Payroll, plus Certified Profit First Professional.
Being a perfectionist (which also complements my “no bull-s&%t” attitude), are qualities required for bookkeeping and advisory and these qualities are brought into each client’s business – their business is treated as if it was my own.
These qualifications and traits have not only enabled my business to grow, but it has allowed me to really delve into each clients’ business to empower them to think differently about their business and what’s possible.
